Agonopterix ciliella (Stainton, 1849)
Banded Brindled Brown
Relatively common but easily confused with A. heraciana. Five faint lines in the cilia of the hind wing are diagnostic. Overwinters as an adult and can be seen from August to May. Found on a variety of umbelliferous plants.
