Notocelia cynosbatella (Linnaeus, 1758)
Black Cloak
First found on South Uist in 2009 and now widely recorded. The adults occur from May to July over gardens, hedgerows, orchards and scrubby habitats. The larval food-plants are brambles and roses in the family Rosaceae and blackthorn (Prunus spinosa).
