Evergestis pallidata  (Hufnagel, 1767)

Chequered Pearl

A common species with most records coming from the southern islands. A first record for Lewis was trapped in June 2024. On the wing from May to September over marshy areas and damp grassland. The larvae feed on members of the mustard family, Brassicaceae.
