Agriphila straminella  ([Denis & Schiffermüller], 1775)

Straw Grass-moth

Common and widespread across the archipelago. On the wing from June to September, flying by day and coming to light. A grassland species with the larvae feeding on numerous grasses including sheep’s-fescue (Festuca ovina).
