Foxglove Pug

Commonly recorded, predominantly in the southern islands. An attractive species when fresh, flying from May to August. As the name suggests, the food-plant is foxglove (Digitalis purpurea), with the larvae living within the flowers and consuming the stamens and developing seeds.
