Xanthorhoe fluctuata (Linnaeus, 1758)
Garden Carpet
Very common across the archipelago flying from April to October in two generations. Found in gardens, scrub, machair and many other habitats. The larvae feed in herbaceous plants in the Brassicaceae family.
