Rusty-tipped Straw
Regularly recorded on the southern islands but should also be found on Harris and Lewis. Bivoltine: occurs from April to August in heathland, machair and boggy ground. Larval food-plants are herbaceous including common lousewort (Pedicularis sylvatica) and cowslip (Primula veris). The larvae overwinter.
