Heath Hook-wing

First recorded on South Uist in 2009, with numerous records since, mainly from South Uist. Prefers higher moorland where is could be quite common and is found from May to July. Heather (Calluna vulgaris) and bell heather (Erica cinerea) are the food-plants.
