Nomophila noctuella ([Denis & Schiffermüller], 1775)

A migrant species which can be quite common in some years. Most records occur in September and October, but a few come from April onwards. It can occur anywhere but most frequent in coastal areas. A wide range of herbaceous plants are used by the larvae.
