Idaea biselata (Hufnagel, 1767)
Small Fan-footed Wave
Frequently recorded in the Uists, and now in Lewis. A species associated with woodland and mature gardens from June to August. Little is known of the food-plants, but herbaceous plants are used to rear larvae in captivity.
