Perizoma bifaciata (Haworth, 1809)
Barred Rivulet
A scarce species found on Barra and the southern end of South Uist. It prefers open areas such as machair or dunes, flying in July and August. The larval food-plants are red bartsia (Odontites vernus) and eyebrights (Euphrasia spp.).
