Hydriomena impluviata  ([Denis & Schiffermüller], 1775)

May Highflyer

A very scarce species in the islands, found in damp woodland and flying mainly from May to June. It can look similar to worn examples of some ruddy highflyers and may need dissection to confirm identity.
