Stilbia anomala (Haworth, 1812)
Anomalous
A frequently recorded species across the archipelago but mainly in the south. The flight period is August to September over moorland, machair and sand-dunes. The larval food-plants include tufted hair-grass (Deschampsia cespitosa) and wavy hair-grass (Deschampsia flexuosa).
