Autographa pulchrina (Haworth, 1809)
Beautiful Golden Y
Common and widespread across the islands. The flight period is June to August over moorland, heathland, gardens and scrub. The larvae feed on a large range of herbaceous plants including stinging nettles (Urtica dioica), common ragwort (Senecio jacobaea) and honeysuckle (Lonicera periclymenum).
