Parornix scoticella (Stainton, 1850)
Rowan Parornix
A leaf-miner whose food-plant is mainly rowan (Sorbus aucuparia), but other trees and shrubs are also used. Rowan is sporadic across the archipelago, so the species should prove to be reasonably common. The image below was reared off rowan and emerged in June 2021.
