Argyresthia semifusca (Haworth, 1828)
Purple-washed Tip Moth
A scarce species in Scotland with only one modern record, from South Uist, dating from August 2018. It appears similar to Argyresthia conjugella but has more uniform wings and is whiter along the dorsum and head. The food plants are Sorbus and Crataegus species.
