Cotton-grass Sedge-miner

A rare species across Scotland with currently just two records from South Uist. This is a tiny whitish moth with a few obscure darker markings. It flies from June to August and is found on bogs and heaths containing Eriophorum, Carex and Eleocharis palustris.
