Schrekensteinia festaliella (Hübner, [1819])
Blackberry skeletoniser
A scarce species across Scotland with currently just five records from South Uist and Eriskay. The wonderful name ‘skeletoniser’ sums up the larval feeding habit in the leaves of brambles. The flight period is March to September in a range of habitats.
