Acleris laterana (Fabricius, 1794)
Dark-marked Tortrix
Well represented across Scotland but only recorded infrequently at one site in South Uist with an additional record from Barra. Associated with scrubby habitats, woodland and gardens. Larvae feed on a range of shrubby plants and small trees such as hawthorn (Crataegus), bramble (Rubus), rowan (Sorbus) willows (Salix) and Vaccinium.
