Acleris rhombana  ([Denis & Schiffermüller], 1775)

Rhomboid Tortrix

Common throughout Britain and well represented in the Outer Hebrides. It frequents scrub, hedgerows and orchards flying in late July to October (but several other months in Britain). Food-plants include hawthorn (Crataegus monogyna), blackthorn (Prunus spinosa) and fruit trees.
