Common Gorse Moth
Rare in the Outer Hebrides with just two records: Eriskay in 2014 and South Uist in 2016. The flight period is from April to September over grassland, heathland, and sand-dunes. The larval food-plants include bird's-foot trefoil (Lotus corniculatus), common gorse (Ulex europaeus) and common broom (Cytisus scoparius).
