Purple Marbled Tortrix
Rarely recorded with just single records from Benbecula and South Uist. Flying by day from July to August over machair and sand-dunes. The larval food-plants include hogweed (Heracleum sphondylium), wild angelica (Angelica sylvestris) and wild carrot (Daucus carota).
