Dusky Pearl

Rare in the Outer Hebrides with just two records from the same site on South Uist in 2013. On the wing from May to August over scrub, gardens and hedgerows. Numerous herbaceous food-plants are used including common knapweed (Centaurea nigra), stinging nettles (Urtica dioica) and blackthorn (Prunus spinosa).
