Blastobasis lacticolella  Rebel, 1940

Large Pale Masoner

An introduced species that is now well established in Britain. First recorded on South Uist in 2009, it has since been recorded across the archipelago with most records from the southern islands. The long flight period is from May to November suggesting more than one generation. Several habitats are used including gardens and coastal scrub. The larvae feed on a large range of foodstuffs.
