Hoplodrina blanda ([Denis & Schiffermüller], 1775)
Rustic
Frequently recorded but all from a small area in the south of the islands. Active from June to August over open landscapes, scrub and gardens. The larvae feed on herbaceous plants including chickweeds (Stellaria spp.) and plantains (Plantago spp.). This species is easily confused with uncertain (Hoplodrina octogenarian), which occupies the same habitats at the same time of year.
