Photedes minima  (Haworth, 1809)

Small Dotted Buff

Scarce, just a few records from two sites on South Uist and Eriskay. Found in damp woodland and marshy areas from June to August. The larvae feed on tufted hair grass (Deschampsia cespitosa).
