Bryotropha terrella  ([Denis & Schiffermüller], 1775)

Brown Moss-moth

Three spots on the wings are helpful characters but these are not always obvious in fresh specimens and can be confused with Bryotropha desertella. A common species to be found in dry grass areas in June and July. Currently only recorded from the southern islands.
