Family: Noctuidae Checklist Number: 73.228
Antitype chi (Linnaeus, 1758)
Grey Chi
Rare, with six records from Lewis and just one from South Uist. On the wing from August to September over open grassland, moorland and gardens. The larval food-plants are not well documented, but the larvae would seem to be eclectic. Given the habitat and feeding preferences, it may be well under-recorded.
