Agrotis segetum  ([Denis & Schiffermüller], 1775)

Turnip Moth

Scarce in Scotland with only a few records from South Uist. The main flight period is May to July in gardens and open areas, including agricultural land. The larvae feed on a wide range of herbaceous and cultivated plants.
