Triple-spotted Clay
Rarely recorded in the Outer Hebrides, flying from June to August. Initially the larvae feed on herbaceous plants and hibernate when small to recommence feeding in spring on various foodplants including willows (Salix spp.), birches (Betula spp.) and brambles (Rubus spp.).
