Scoparia subfusca Haworth, 1811

Large Grey

One of the larger Scoparia species, first recorded on the Outer Hebrides (on St Kilda) in 2021, but fairly common on the Scottish mainland. The flight period is June to August. In Scotland the larvae feed on the roots of colt's-foot Tussilago farfara.
