Two of these migrants were trapped at North Loch Eynort, South Uist on the seemingly unusual date of 27 February 2019, the first VC110 records. However, strange things were happening on that mild night with over 29 dark sword-grass (Agrotis ipsilon) and a handful of other commoner species were also recorded over a couple of days.
