Jointed Rush Case-bearer

There are in excess of 10 records from the Uists between 5-24 July, as of 2024. The flight period is mid-June to August nationally, over damp habitats. Eggs are laid on the florets of jointed rush (Juncus articulatus) where the larvae feed and forms a case.
