Cnephasia conspersana  Douglas, 1846

Coast Grey Tortrix

A rare species in mainland Scotland with most records coming from the southern islands of the Outer Hebrides. A coastal species, very similar to Cnephasia stephensiana and dissection is usually required for positive identification. Active from late June to August. Many shrubby and perennial species are used by the larvae.
