First recorded on South Uist in 2010 and now fairly common there and on Eriskay. There are also two records from North Uist. Active from July to September. Cat's ear (Hypochoeris radicata), perennial sow-thistle (Sonchus arvensis) and dandelions (Taraxacum spp.) are the larval food-plants.
