Dichrorampha aeratana  (Pierce & Metcalfe, 1915)

Dingy Daisy Moth

Rare, first recorded in 2011 from South Uist with just one subsequent record. It can readily be confused with Dichrorampha plumbana. The adults occur from May to June over coastal grassland and dunes. The larval food-plants are oxeye daisy (Leucanthemum vulgare).
