Yellow-spot Yarrow Moth

Scarce, first recorded in 2011 with a handful of subsequent record all from South Uist. The adults occur from May to August over coastal grassland and scrub. The larval food-plants are yarrow (Achillea millefolium), tansy (Tanacetum vulgare) and sneezewort (Achillea ptarmica).
